The Nintendo Switch eShop has revealed the specifications for Final Fantasy VIII Remastered after digital pre-orders went live in Japan on August 22, 2019.

According to the eShop listing for the game, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered requires 2.6GB of space. The game supports Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and Save Data Cloud Backup. Languages supported include Japanese, English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian.
