For the past few months, rumors have been circulating that Final Fantasy VIII Remastered would be getting a physical release for Nintendo Switch.
Today, we have another round of evidence that these rumors may be true. Retailer Play-Asia has recently put up several listings for Final Fantasy VIII Remastered on Switch. This includes not just a North American and Japanese version, but a European and an Asian version as well. Pre-orders for all four versions are open, although the expected arrival dates have yet to be announced.
The presence of these listings make it highly likely that a physical release of Final Fantasy VIII Remastered for Switch is in the works, as there would be no reason to publish these if the release was digital only. We will continue to monitor the story and bring more details as they come.
