Recently, Nintendo released some updated sales data for several of their top titles on Switch, revealing that Fire Emblem: Three Houses has now become the best-selling game in the series.
According to the data, Fire Emblem: Three Houses managed to move over 3.02 million units worldwide as of June 2020, surpassing the franchise’s previous best-selling installment Fire Emblem Awakening, which sits at 2.94 million units sold worldwide.
Of course, without Awakening’s initial work in bringing the series to a more global audience, it is likely Three Houses may not have achieved this success today. We look forward to seeing how the franchise continues to grow and develop further in the future.
