Earlier this week, we reported that Fire Emblem: Three Houses was dominating the UK sales charts. Aside from completely outselling its handheld predecessors Awakening and Fates, it looks like the new title has touched another milestone.
According to Eurogamer’s records, the game has now sold 15 times more than Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Wii, 2007). Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn was the last console-based Fire Emblem title, before the series stuck to handhelds for some time.
With Fire Emblem: Three Houses making such an explosive bang, however, it looks like Nintendo can once again have faith in a console-sized experience for the series. Let’s hope this paves the way for another Fire Emblem title of this size and production value!
