First Authentic Pikachu Parade Takes Place In China

Today is a day for Pokemon fans living in mainland China to celebrate – after countless of fake Pikachu Parades, the first and real Pikachu Parade has taken place in China.

During the 2019 Beijing International Film Festival, four Pikachu mascots and a Detective Pikachu mascot marched on stage to the surprise of the audience. While the scale of the Pikachu Parade couldn’t be compared to the ones in Japan, this is the first ever Pikachu Parade so it’s a huge moment for Chinese Pokemon fans.
