First-Ever Chansey Playground Now Open In Japan

As reported previously, The Pokemon Company has been embarking on many initiatives to boost tourism in Japan and support local communities. One of these initiatives announced earlier this year was the construction of several Chansey playgrounds in Fukushima prefecture, and now we finally have our first look!

The first of these new Chansey playgrounds is now open in Namie Town, following an opening ceremony on 12 December 2021. This new park for families contains many typical playground staples with a Pokemon twist – such as a giant Chansey slide and more!
