First Look At The Unreleased SimCity NES Prototype

The Video Game History Foundation has successfully restored an unreleased SimCity NES prototype to working condition, giving us a glimpse at how the game would have been like if Nintendo released it.

According to the foundation, SimCity was originally planned to be released on both NES and SNES at the same time, but the NES version was canceled for unknown reasons. Although SimCity runs on a less powerful machine (NES), its features were more or less the same as the SNES version, albeit with some differences.
