Following the announcement of the SNES Classic Edition, Nintendo of Europe has confirmed that Nintendo Classic Mini: SNES will also be releasing on September 29, 2017. As the SNES had a “rainbow” color scheme in Europe, the Nintendo Classic Mini: SNES controller features buttons in red, blue, green, and yellow. The SNES Classic Edition controller features purple buttons as the SNES had a purple color scheme in North America.
