Following the release of Pokemon Champions for Switch, many players reporting a number of bugs and issues with the title, some of which more serious than others.
Aside from performance issues and glitches during battle, some players have reportedly been losing access to Pokemon that they transfer from Pokemon HOME. As detailed by competitive player Justin Carris, players who encounter this bug will be met with an error message when attempting to send their Pokemon from Pokemon HOME to Pokemon Champions, after which the affected Pokemon can no longer be moved to Champions, traded in HOME, or moved back to a previous Pokemon title.
At the time of this writing, it is not known what the trigger for this bug is, with the only consolation being that the affected Pokemon are still registered in the player’s HOME app and not lost entirely. Hopefully, TPC is aware of this issue and is working on a fix for it, along with the other bugs players are encountering with the new game.
