The Pokemon Company has announced the first official Pokemon Unite tournament for Japan.
The tournament will be held on September 19th for Japan only, sponsored by JCG. Matches are planned to be single elimination, with the Top 4 matches being best out of 3. Participants will be playing Standard Matches on Remoat stadium, with a maximum of 256 teams being allowed to participate.
Registration for the tournament can be done via a form on the official website for the game, and is open to players aged 16 and up, although players under the age of 20 will require permission from a guardian. It should be noted however that since this tournament is Japan only, participants must also be able to write & speak Japanese to enter.
