First Photos Of The Newly Revamped Pokémon Center SINGAPORE

The newly revamped Pokémon Center SINGAPORE is set to reopen its doors on July 1, 2026. NintendoSoup is pleased to share photos from the renovated space two days ahead of its grand reopening.

Pokémon Center SINGAPORE is the first Pokémon Center location outside Japan to receive a major makeover. This is the Singapore location’s first revamp since its grand opening in April 2017 at Jewel Changi Airport, bringing it in line with the modern Pokémon Center spaces we’ve seen at Pokémon Center HIROSHIMA (revamped in 2025), Pokémon Center TAIPEI (2023), and Pokémon Center OKINAWA (2022).

Welcoming visitors to the store are statues of the legendary Pokémon Solgaleo alongside Pikachu, gracing an animated installation featuring Singapore’s skyline. Both Solgaleo and Pikachu are the mascots for Pokémon Center SINGAPORE, taking the reins from Lapras, Celebi, and Pikachu, which have watched over the store for seven years.

Inside the store, we were greeted by a large variety of Pokémon Center merchandise lining up beautifully-designed shelves inspired by traditional shophouses in Singapore.

Pokémon fans will also be greeted by many other Pokémon statues new to Pokémon Center SINGAPORE, such as Flareon, Munchlax, Wattrel, Jolteon, and Vaporeon. A new area inspired by Singapore’s food courts features various local delights, such as ice kacang and noodles.

The store’s layout has also been revamped to improve the shopping experience, with the ocean-themed event space relocating from the left side of the store to the back. The checkout counters are now located at the far left of the store close to the exit.

The interactive Pokédex is now located deep inside the store, in the same space where the Jolteon statue resides.

We also had a first look at the first wave of the Special Edition merchandise launching on July 1, 2026 to commemorate the grand reopening of the store. Key highlights include a Pikachu plush holding a durian, and a plush of Pikachu riding on Solgaleo. There is a purchase limit of one per customer. Don’t forget that a second wave of Special Edition merchandise is scheduled to launch on August 7.

Overall, the newly revamped Pokémon Center SINGAPORE is a remarkable improvement over its first 2017 iteration. With its thoughtful tributes to Singapore culture and the offerings in the Special Edition merchandise lineup, it’s worth a visit for local and overseas Pokémon fans.
