Following initial reports, its now been confirmed that the Pokemon anime will be coming to Disney Plus and Hulu.

Subscribers to these services will be able to stream the first season of the anime Pokémon: Indigo League starting from August 7th 2026. It will also air on the DisneyXD channel, kicking off with an all-day marathon on August 6th 2026, and then airing every weekday and on weekends from August 10th.

Disney Plus and Hulu join a few other existing streaming services in hosting the Pokemon anime. Netflix is also hosting the first season of the original Pokemon anime as well as its successor Pokemon Horizons, while the official Pokemon Youtube channel has the first nine seasons of the original series.
