Recently, the internet has been obsessing over rumors that PlatinumGames’ Scalebound could see a revival on Nintendo Switch. Speculation spread like wildfire after Game Informer editor Imran Khan stated that some canceled game would be heading to the hybrid console.
However, Jean Pierre Kellams, a former creative producer with PlatinumGames, has raised doubts about all the hearsay.
After Nintendo Insider reported that Scalebound would become a Switch exclusive, Kellams plainly responded on Twitter that he didn’t believe in the report’s validity.
It is worth noting that Kellams worked as Scalebound’s lead producer during his time with PlatinumGames, from 2013-2017. As such, he would have been in an ideal position to know if the game was being translated over to Switch. We’ll report back when we learn more about this rumor.
