Fortnite Reaches 2 Million Downloads In Under A Day

At E3 2018, IGN spoke with Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime. Reggie revealed that free-to-play game Fortnite, which launched on Nintendo Switch yesterday, has reached 2 million downloads worldwide.

The president says this speaks volumes of how appealing Fortnite is on Nintendo Switch to gamers. Here are his full comments:

At this point, we’ve already had more than two million downloads on Fortnite. So that speaks to an engaged audience on Nintendo Switch as well as the core proposition of, I can now take it with me and play anywhere, anytime, with anyone, it’s really resonated.
