Ahead of the official broadcast later this week, some new details about CyberConnect2’s Fuga: Melodies Of Steel 2 have surfaced online.
According to the latest issue of Famitsu magazine (via ryokutya), the game has been confirmed to be heading to Switch and other platforms in 2023, and is a direct sequel to the original Fuga: Melodies of Steel. It will once again feature Malt as the main protagonist, and takes place one year after the first game’s True Ending. As such, players who own the first game will get access to special content in the sequel.
Aside from this, Melodies of Steel 2 will reportedly have a story “double the volume” of the original, and will add a variety of new weapons as well as features. There will also be a Judgement System where player choices will affect story outcomes, including interactions and relationships between the main characters.
No doubt many of these features will be shown off in the official broadcast later this week. Stay tuned for more information as it comes.
