Galarian Ponyta Official Trailer And Details Revealed For Pokemon Sword/Shield

Earlier last weekend, we’ve been getting teases of a Galarian Ponyta heading to Pokemon Sword/Shield, with an early info-drop by Famitsu even sprouting today. Well, now you can finally get your first look at the Pokemon in action!

The Pokemon Company has released a new trailer showcasing in-game footage of the Galarian Ponyta. Along with the trailer, Pokemon.com has updated with new information on the regional variant – revealing that it’s Psychic type! The official info also confirms that Galarian Ponytawill only appear exclusively in Pokemon Shield.

Galarian Ponyta’s Ability, Pastel Veil, is a new Ability introduced in these titles. This Ability prevents the Pokémon and its allies from becoming poisoned! It can even cure the poisoned status condition of its allies when this Pokémon enters the battlefield!
