The Game Boy Classic Mini Is Now One Step Closer To Fruition

Nintendo Co, Ltd has just registered a trademark for the Game Boy in Japan.

According to trademark records, the trademark was registered on September 15, 2017. The trademark is applicable to video game machines, video games, keychains, brief case metal fittings, and clothing.

See the trademark below.

What does this trademark have to do with a potential Game Boy Classic Mini device? Many months before the NES Classic Edition and SNES Classic Edition were revealed to the public, the NES and SNES controllers were also trademarked by Nintendo again.

The same happened with the Nintendo 64 this year, leading to speculation than the inevitable N64 Classic Mini is coming next year.

Will you buy the Game Boy Classic Mini? Let us know in the comments below!
