It looks like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild might be spawning a new lookalike these days.
Some gaming fans might be familiar with Mihoyo’s Genshin Impact – a new anime-style PC/mobile game that appeared at E3 2019. Aside from it’s beautiful look and feel, however, many were also quick to point out that it took too many cues from Nintendo’s Breath of the Wild! While there aren’t any breakable weapons, the game does feature a heroine waking up after a long slumber, the ability to climb walls, a stamina gauge, eerily-similar grassy plains, and much more.

From what we’ve seen, though, there are still enough original ideas at play here! It’ll be interesting to see if this title eventually makes it onto the Switch – and comes full circle with its obvious inspiration.
