Heads up, Pokemon fans! The Pokemon Company has something more in store for you when linking up a Poke Ball Plus with Pokemon Sword & Shield!
In addition to bringing your Pokemon out for a stroll when transferring from Pokemon Sword & Shield to the Poke Ball Plus, you’ll also be able to receive the mythical Pokemon Mew once you link up a brand new Poke Ball Plus with Pokemon Sword & Shield.
This functionality has been officially announced via the Pokemon Twitter PR account:
That said, if it works the same way as in Pokemon, Let’s GO, players should be reminded that Mew can only be transferred one time into one copy of Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield. Once transferred, it will no longer be available in the Poke Ball Plus to transfer to a different game. Deleting a save file with Mew in it will also delete Mew. If you have deleted a game with Mew, you will not be able to get Mew a second time on a new game from the same Poké Ball Plus.
