The artist behind various ‘remastered’ versions of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate characters is back with more beautiful artwork.
Over the past few months, God of War art director Rafael Grassetti has been illustrating surreal renditions of various videogame all-stars. From re-imagining Ridley to giving Mega Man a new sheen, the artist has no doubt been busy attracting a lot of love from Nintendo fans.
And it doesn’t look like Grassetti is running out of steam, either. Over the past few weeks, he’s still been illustrating hyper-realistic versions of Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, King Dedede, and Kirby! You can catch up on them below.
Will Grassetti really manage to illustrate all 70+ characters in the Smash roster? We’ll be keeping tabs and reporting back as he posts more.
