After remastering various Smash Bros. characters – videogame artist Rafael Grassetti is back with a realistic rendition of Sonic the Hedgehog!
This time, the illustration seems to take loose inspiration from Sonic’s widely-hated movie design – perhaps on purpose. Check it out below, with fuzzy bristles and all.
Hilariously enough, the art company BossLogic later modified Grasetti’s artwork into a mock movie poster – with many fans commenting that it looked much more acceptable than Paramount Pictures’ terrible attempt to advertise the 2019 film.
What do you think of this version of the blue blur? Does he appear way past cool, or does that hairy look still make you feel uncomfortable? Let us know with your comments below.
