This afternoon in Japan, major retailers started taking orders for the Golden Famicom Classic Mini, also known as the Weekly Shonen Jump 50th Anniversary Edition.
As expected, the Golden Famicom Classic Mini was a huge hit. Pre-orders were completely sold out between 15 minutes and an hour on Amazon Japan, Yodobashi Camera, Bic Camera, Rakuten Books, and Kojima.
Not all hope is lost, though. We believe replenishments are on the way, so expect to see more pre-orders open up closer to launch day. We’ll be sure to update you once it happens.
