For those of you who wish to try out Virtual Reality in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey without paying an arm and a leg, we have a piece of good news.
Reddit user ForeignSprite has discovered that the Google Cardboard, a cardboard set that once assembled could be used for VR on smartphones, is compatible with Nintendo Switch. The user says Google Cardboard “works really well” with the Switch, but it does cause a bit of eyestrain.
Also worth mentioning is that the Switch is also compatible with the Daydream headset, and as we previously reported earlier, PlayStation VR.
If you are interested you can grab a cheap Google Cardboard from Amazon here.
