Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition Will Take Up 25.4 GB On Nintendo Switch

Been pondering whether to dive into Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition on your Nintendo Switch? Well, you may want to prepare some extra room on your memory card.

The Switch eShop page of the game is now live, revealing that the digital version of the game will take up a hefty 25.4 GB of space in total. As reported previously, this new release will include remastered versions of Grand Theft Auto IIIGrand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas with updated visuals and gameplay improvements.

A physical version of the game is also launching on 7 December 2021 – although this large file size raises doubts on whether the entire trilogy will be on the cartridge, or if an additional download will be required to play all three games.

We’ll report back if we hear more in the future. Stay tuned!
