[UPDATE] Guide: All New Returning Pokemon In The Pokemon Sword/Shield Expansion Pass

Earlier this week, The Pokemon Company revealed that over 200 Pokemon from past games would be added to Pokemon Sword And Shield‘s roster through free updates and the Expansion Pass.

As detailed on the official website for the Expansion Pass, here’s how it all works:

  • The Expansion Pass (and free updates) will add two new Pokedexes to the game:
    • Isle Of Armor Pokedex arrives around June
    • Crown Tundra Pokedex arrives around November
  • Each of the two new Pokedexes will feature different sets of returning Pokemon that were not originally available in Pokemon Sword And Shield.
  • The original Galar Pokedex will remain unchanged, and if you completed it, it stays complete.
    • It will however be updated with new Pokemon as they are discovered.
