Guide: All Pokemon Currently Confirmed For Pokemon Sword And Shield

As of October 19, 2019, 250 Pokemon from previous Pokemon generations have been so far confirmed for Pokemon Sword and Shield. That leaves us with around 500 more Pokemon that have not been confirmed yet.

We noticed a few interesting observations from the current list. The generation with the most number of confirmed Pokemon is currently Generation 5, while Generations 2 and 7 are tied for having the least confirmed Pokemon returning. The only Starter Pokemon line set to appear in the games is the Charmander evolution line, and the only Mythical Pokemon confirmed so far is Mew.
