Guide: How To Find Drifloon In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl

In the original Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, the Balloon Pokemon Drifloon was a rare Pokemon that could only be encountered in a specific location on a specific day of the week.

Being faithful remakes of the originals, the method to encounter Drifloon is exactly the same in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. For those who are new to the series or have never played the original games on the DS, below is a quick explanation of where to find this elusive Pokemon:

Location and Timing

• Drifloon can only be found outside the Valley Windworks east of Floaroma Town on Fridays after Team Galactic has been defeated there as part of the main story.
• If the Drifloon is not captured or defeated by the end of the day, it will disappear until the following Friday.
• From testing, if players defeat Team Galactic on a Friday, Drifloon will not appear until the following Friday.
