It looks like fans won’t have to worry too much about delays for Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX on Switch.
In a recent interview with Dualshockers, Inti Creates CEO Takuya Aizu revealed just how much of the game was already complete. While we didn’t hear much about the game for several months, Inti Creates was actually hard at work on the title – clearing almost 90% of its development in that time:
When we made the “Now in Development” announcement last year, the only thing we really had set in stone was the kind of game we wanted to make and how the game was going to be. [Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX] was only about 5% done at that time last. When we made the second appearance at Bitsummit with the release date and everything, it was about 95% done. So how has the game changed and advanced? It basically went from 5% completion to 95% completion so pretty much the entire game was built, essentially, between those announcements.
Overall, it looks like we can definitely expect the game to release on 26 September 2019 as scheduled. We’ll report back when we hear more about this exciting side-story for the Gunvolt series.
