Hackers Manage To Bring Custom Firmware To Switch, Potentially Opening Doors To Homebrew And Piracy

Infamous hackers, Team-Xecuter, the same team behind Gateway 3DS, which flooded the 3DS market with piracy is now back with a custom firmware hack.

In a very unelaborated blog post, the teams showed off a video of their custom firmware running on the Nintendo Switch. As to how they did it, whether it was a hard or soft modification, nothing much was said. The team even went so far as to say that, they have future-proofed the hack, as for how they did not elaborate either.

All you probably need to know for now is that the hack is coming soon, and it will probably open up to a load of piracy on the Nintendo Switch. The only one that is able to stop them now is probably Nintendo, so you probably know what is Nintendo’s next action already.
