New Sonic The Hedgehog 3 Movie Concept Art Shows Off Cut Content And More

Last month, the highly anticipated third entry in the Sonic The Hedgehog live-action film series premiered in theatres, quickly becoming another hit worldwide.

Now, some new concept art has surfaced online revealing a few ideas that didn’t quite make it into the final film. These images were shared on weibo by Tian He Yan Studio, who worked on some keyframes and character modelling for the film.

The artwork features scenes such as Knuckles and Tails riding a bike to escape a rolling ball of debris, Team Sonic flying through a valley in a formation reminiscent of Sonic Heroes, as well as scenes depicting two characters from the film’s post credits scene, possibly hinting at what the team has in mind for the next movie.

Sonic The Hedgehog 3 is available purchase digitally here, and will release on April 15th for Blu Ray and DVD.
