Hajime Tabata Resigns From Square Enix

Hajime Tabata, game director at Square Enix and COO of Luminous Productions, has resigned from his positions with effect from October 31, 2018.

Tabata is best known for his work on the Final Fantasy franchise. Tabata says the reason why he’s leaving both companies is to work on his next project. He’s opening a new company in order to accomplish this.
