Today, the Wii U has turned five years old. The Nintendo home console after Wii and before Nintendo Switch was released on November 18, 2012 in North America.
Although the Wii U didn’t do spectacularly well during its lifetime, it saw a great deal of fantastic games such as Super Mario 3D World, Bayonetta 2, Pikmin 3, Mario Kart 8, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, and Pokken Tournament.
If you’re a Wii U owner, perhaps the best way to celebrate today is by turning it on and playing some games. It’s also a good excuse to take a break from gaming on Switch… just for today!
