Today we have an interesting detail to report about Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix, the first Hatsune Miku game being released for Nintendo Switch.
According to some early preview footage, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix seems to include a feature which allows players to use Playstation symbols as button prompts instead of the Switch’s ABXY prompts. While the reason for this feature’s inclusion is unclear, fans theorize that it is to accommodate series veterans who may be more used to the Playstation button format.
That said, instead of referring to them as “Playstation” symbols, Project DIVA Mega Mix refers to them as “Arcade” symbols in the instructions. The “Arcade” terminology appears to be due to the arcade installments of Project DIVA using the Playstation button format for its controller.
