As with all modern Kirby And The Forgotten Land features Kirby’s signature ability to copy enemy powers by inhaling them, with an added new feature allowing players to “evolve” copy abilities into new forms through upgrading.
Following the game’s official release, some players have already managed to uncover all of the available copy abilities featured in the game, along with their evolutions. In total, Kirby And The Forgotten Land features 12 standard Copy Abilities, 2 of which are brand new to the series (Drill and Ranger). Each copy ability has two evolutions, with single use abilities Crash and Sleep only having one. There are also unique evolutions for Sword and Hammer, bringing their totals up to three.
