Japan has voted and here are the results from a recent poll asking trainers for their favorite Pokemon from the newest games.
Below are the top 50 most popular Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet, according to this Japanese poll. Votes were cast by 177,829 trainers around Japan between the December 16th and December 23rd of this year. The bolded Pokemon are the ones introduced in the latest generation with Tinkaton taking the top spot.

While Meowscarada is the top representation from the starter Pokemon, the starter with it’s first evolutionary stage at top was the hot pepper Fuecoco.
