Here’s A Sneak Peek At Subnautica Running On Nintendo Switch

Earlier this year, Nintendo revealed that survival-exploration game Subnautica would be heading to Nintendo Switch. Since then, many have been debating how well the title will actually run on the Switch’s weaker hardware – and it looks like we’re finally getting some answers today!

Obraxis, one of the folks working on the game, recently shared a first look at how the game runs on the Switch’s handheld mode. From what we can see, it’s actually performing rather steadily – although it’s hard to tell if this port will fare as smoothly when visiting other locations in the game.

Check it out below:

Subnautica and its companion game Subnautica: Below Zero will be hitting Nintendo Switch in Early 2021. We’ll report back as we hear more!
