Here’s An In-depth Look At Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Galar Region Map

During today’s Pokemon Direct, Game Freak have shown the world a new region for its next Pokemon game – Pokemon Sword and Shield.

You may have already known that the Galar Region is based off the United Kingdom. This new region’s shape pretty much resembles the British Isles featuring its snow-covered mountains (Scottish highlands) and ornate cities donning clockwork architecture bearing comparison with the Westminster and the Houses of Parliament located in London. You may also notice the big city at the top of the map bears some semblance to London and from where you start down below is suggestive of Scotland.

Also, on the 7-minute Direct, the Galar Region suggests of a post-industrial period with beautiful country sides and large bustling cities.
