French Nintendo site Nintend’Alerts has revealed the number of copies allocated for Nintendo Labo and many other Nintendo games on Day 1 in France, giving us a look at how Nintendo is expecting their games to sell.
30,000 sets of the Nintendo Labo Variety Kits and 15,000 sets of Robot Kits will be sold at retailers across France at launch. This may be lower than the Day 1 allocations for other games:
Kirby Star Allies: 70,000 copies
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze: 70,000 copies
Bayonetta 2: 45,000 copies
Bayonetta Special Edition: 5,000 copies
Dark Souls Remastered: 30,000 copies
Dragon Quest Builders: 12,000 copies
Looks like Nintendo isn’t expecting Labo to sell as well as some of its first party titles. Does this bode well for Labo’s launch?
