Here’s The Full Rundown On Pikachu Mass Outbreak: Science Is Amazing

The Pokemon Company and Yokohama City have released the full details for Pikachu Mass Outbreak: Science is Amazing.

Pikachu Mass Outbreak is an annual event featuring thousands of Pikachu mascots swarming the city of Yokohama. This year’s event takes place daily from August 10 to August 16, 2018.

Here are the activities and their respective details. Keep in mind schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions:

Pikachu Mass Parade

Date: August 10 to August 16, 2018

Afternoon: Everyday at 11am ~, 1pm ~, 3pm ~ marching from Queen’s Square Yokohama to Grand Mall Park and back

Evening: Twice in the evening marching from MARK IS Minato Mirai to Grand Mall Park and back

Entry fee: Free

Eevee Mass Parade

Date: August 10 to August 16, 2018

Afternoon: Everyday at 3pm ~, 4pm ~, 6pm ~ at New Harbor Central Plaza (新港中央広場)

Entry fee: Free

Dash yourself in water! Soaking Splash

Jets of water will soak the participants at the Soaking Splash event, while a Pikachu performance takes place on a new type of stage.

Evening: Everyday at 6pm ~, 7pm ~

Venue: Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse

Pikachu At Sea Greeting

A horde of Pikachu will ride on a newly designed boat traveling across the beautiful rivers of Yokohama. Great time to take photos!

Pokemon Synchronicity – Presentation at Sea

A special performance featuring Pikachu mascots, lights, digital technology, and more will take place on a floating platform.
