Here’s What amiibo Unlock In Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker Switch And 3DS

The official Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker website has unveiled what amiibo can do in the Switch and 3DS versions of the game.

By tapping a Wedding Mario, Wedding Peach, or Wedding Bowser amiibo, players will be able to immediately access the game’s Super Mario Odyssey themed courses even at the start of the game.

If you tap a Toad amiibo, you’ll receive an Invincibility Mushroom, making Toad invincible to enemies for a short period of time.

Tapping any other amiibo that is not mentioned above will give the user a 1-UP Mushroom.

For reference, in the original Wii U version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, the Toad amiibo unlocks a special Hide-and-Seek challenge, while all other amiibo will provide 1-UP Mushrooms.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker launches July 13, 2018 on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS.
