Alongside the release of Metroid Dread, fans will be able to get their hands on a new set of amiibo figures depicting Samus and the E.M.M.I from the game.
Over on their official website, Nintendo has revealed how the two amiibo can be used with the game. Each amiibo can be used to unlock items and powerups in Metroid Dread, as follows:
- Samus amiibo: Extra energy tank to increase your health by 100. Can then be scanned once a day to receive health.
- E.M.M.I amiibo: Extra missile+ tank on its first scan, increasing Samus’ missile capacity by 10. Can then be scanned once per day to replenish missiles.
Both Metroid Dread amiibo will be available in a double-pack that releases on October 8th, the same date as the game itself.
