Nintendo has announced a new online tournament for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, following the feature being added to the game in the Version 4.0.0 update.

According to the official announcement, the tournament will have a “Heroes VS Villains” theme and begins this Friday on August 9th, and will run for three days. The better players do in the tournament, the better the spirits rewarded for victory.
