An interesting piece of unused content has been discovered for Pokemon Legends: Arceus, depicting a secret “modern day” room that cannot be encountered through normal play.
The discovery was first brought to light by gaming researcher and hacker @DeepGameRes. While poking around in the game’s files, they discovered a set of textures that looked very “modern”, which led them to eventually discover the hidden room. Found in a larger, emptier, unused area, the hidden room can only be accessed through hacking, and was likely never meant for players to ever set their eyes on.

As seen above, the room contains many modern amenities such as a flatscreen TV, a desk and lamp, and even a Pikachu Edition Nintendo Switch. Currently, the prevailing speculation is that the room may have been intended for an alternative opening to the game, as it closely resembles the starting rooms of many other mainline Pokemon titles. Others believe that it could be a hint at potential DLC, although there has been no official information suggesting that this could be the case.
