The highly dreaded lotteries that were commonplace in Japan last year have made a return due to the popularity of the Golden Famicom Classic Mini in Japan.
From May 14 to May 20, 2018 11:59pm Japan Time, HMV Japan customers can register themselves into an online lottery for a chance to pre-order the Golden Famicom Classic Mini. Results will be announced before May ends. Customers with shipping addresses outside Japan are not allowed to participate in the lottery – they’ll need to have a shipping address within Japan in their address book to enter.
