For a few years now, fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of Silksong, the sequel to Team Cherry’s highly acclaimed Hollow Knight.
Despite simmering anticipation for the title, developer Team Cherry has been mostly quiet about the game’s development. Fans have thus been looking everywhere for some hint that more info is on the way. The latest spark of conversation comes via Wario64, who noticed that Silksong recently had its assets updated on Steam. This is noted to be “the first real Steam update” for the game this year, with the most significant change being an update to the game’s thumbnail on the store.
Although relatively minor, any signs of life from the project is enough to ignite renewed hopes of a potential release date announcement in the near future. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
