Japanese accessory maker HORI has announced a new interesting product called the Daemon X Machina Grip Controller for Nintendo Switch in Japan.
The new controller will launch in Japan in September 2019 for 4780 yen (exclusive 8% sales tax). The Grip Controller could only be used in Handheld Mode and has a new ergonomic design different from the traditional Joy-Con controllers, leaning more toward the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller:
The design of the X button has been replaced with the “X” in the Daemon X Machina logo. The Grip Controller’s analog sticks are slightly larger than the Joy-Con’s analog sticks:
An additional L/R button is built into the back of the Grip Controller, and you can choose to assign it to another button if you like.
Keep in mind that the Grip Controllers do not support HD Rumble, Gyro Controls, IR Camera, and amiibo.
