How To Connect Your GameCube Controller To The Nintendo Switch Lite

The controller that just won’t go away.

GameXplain has shared a quick set of instructions of how to connect your GameCube controller to your Nintendo Switch Lite. This lets you play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with an iconic controller on Nintendo’s newest console.

You’ll need  a GameCube controller, a Wii U adapter, the black cable with a USB end, and a USB C to USB 3 adapter. This will let you plug into the Switch Lite’s port and connect your wired controller.

Of course, it still seems less convenient to play this way compared to using the Nintendo Switch in docked mode since the Switch Lite will be flat on the ground otherwise.

Are you planning on playing your Switch Lite like this? Let us know below.
