Following the Pokemon 2018 Video Game Press Conference, which officially revealed Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee, Pokemon Quest, and Poke Ball Plus to the world, we now know what the code names for these projects are inside Nintendo.
Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee is called “Project Beluga”. Beluga is a species of white whales. If Beluga sounds familiar to you, that’s because the project’s code name was leaked a few months ago.
Meanwhile, Pokemon Quest is referred as “Project Voxel”, while the Poke Ball Plus is called “Project Palma”. Voxel is a fitting code name for Pokemon Quest, after all the game revolves around cubes.
