When you sit down and play Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on 1 December 2017, do remember that the audio reverberating through your stereo was an international effort.
In a post on Nintendo UK, Music/Sound Producer Yasunori Mitsuda talked about the effort they had put in to bring about the Xenoblade Chronicles Soundtrack. One of the examples he stated was the international team required to pull out the game’s music.
Musicians from Slovakia, Japan, England, Ireland all pitched in to bring about the game’s wonderful tunes
Another point to highlight was that musicians from all over the world were involved, such as a chorus from Slovakia, an orchestra from Japan, vocal songs sung by Ms Jen Bird, who came all the way from England, and finally the Irish chorus group ANÚNA. One of ANÚNA’s performances is featured in a music video. All kinds of genres of music were made, so I am sure that the game will not bore you no matter how long you play it.
You can even get a sample of one of the songs, “Shadow of the Lowlands” by Irish chorus group ANÚNA.
So when you finally get the game, take some time to appreciate the audio. Fans who got the special edition of the game will also get an exclusive soundtrack; just more opportunities to appreciate the great music.
