irem Collection Volume 2 Announced For Switch

Publishers ININ Games, Strictly Limited Games, and developer irem have announced the irem Collection Volume 2 for Switch.

This is the second volume in a five volume series collecting several of irem’s classic titles for release on modern platforms, some of which have never been released in the West. Volume 2 will contain three legendary shoot ’em up games GunForce, GunForce II, and Air Duel. They will be available digitally for Switch and other platforms from February 20th 2024. Physical releases from Strictly Limited Games will be going up for pre-order starting July 16th.

The format will be amended to 4:3 to transfer screen vibes of that time to the box; it will still have same width and height to make sure it looks good in the shelf next to other Strictly Limited Games Collector’s Edition.
